Why join ACTA?

The Adelaide Convention Tourism Authority works to create new business opportunities for its members, introducing them to the lucrative conventions, meetings, exhibitions and incentive travel markets. Current members include accommodation providers, event and conference organisers, attractions, retailers, restaurants, printers, tour operators, airlines and other travel and transport service providers.

Some reasons why you should become a member of ACTA:

  • OPPORTUNITIES - ACTA sources and identifies key business tourism events and is an aggressive bidder in encouraging event organisers to select South Australia as their choice destination.

  • MARKET INTELLIGENCE - ACTA members have access to information, market intelligence and opportunities not available through other organisations. Members have access to the ACTA Marketing Directory - a confidential list of all-upcoming conventions, meetings and events in South Australia. (Access is dependent on Membership level)

  • BUSINESS LEADS- ACTA refers its members' products, services and facilities to convention and event organisers and the local corporate market. Members receive regular sales lead information, inclusion in event bidding and bid win information. (Dependent on Membership level)

  • MEMBER SERVICES DIRECTORY- All members are listed in the directory and on the ACTA web page, with hyperlinks to your own business website.

  • MARKETING OPPORTUNITIES- ACTA members have access to a range of exclusive marketing opportunities, including advertising campaigns, participation in familiarisation tours and trade shows, free editorial in various ACTA publications, plus business networking and profiling opportunities. Members also have the opportunity to advertise in the Adelaide Facilities Guide, which is distributed to approximately 5,000 organisations each year.

  • RECOGNITION- ACTA members can display the ACTA logo decal at their place of business to identify themselves as a member of a high-profile industry organisation.

  • INFORMATION- ACTA members receive the ACTA Online newsletter each month, providing information on industry trends, ACTA activities and achievements.

All members have full voting rights and the eligibility to stand for Directorship on the ACTA Board.
