CONVENTION AND INCENTIVE SALES
ACTA conducts regular sales calls into national and international markets targeting potential convention prospects. These activities involve direct mail, telemarketing, function organising and travel planning. ACTA members can benefit from joint marketing opportunities by ensuring ACTA is updated on any new products or services.
FAMILIARISATION PROGRAM
ACTA conducts structured familiarisation programs, including 3 National and Destination SA - Adelaide's Business Events Exchange. These regular familiarisations play host to key corporate, association, PCO's and incentive house decision makers and aim to provide first hand experience of the South Australian product. ACTA members have the opportunity to showcase their products or services to these key contacts by becoming involved in the familiarisation.
BUSINESS EVENT PLANNER
ACTA's Business Event Planner is a comprehensive guide to South Australia's venues, professional convention, exhibition and corporate meeting services. The Planner is a full colour, high quality document distributed to all potential convention decision-makers in national and international markets.
ACTA members are invited to advertise in this comprehensive publication that has a print run of approximately 5000 copies.
NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL TRADE SHOWS
As a member of ACTA you can be invited to participate in international and national trade shows as a cooperative partner. ACTA invites members to participate in the cooperative marketing campaign at AIME & engage in the brochure distribution. By working as a united team, ACTA members are provided with the opportunity to maximise the impact of their marketing dollar and promote their product or service in the most effective manner.
CLIENT SITE INSPECTIONS
Once Adelaide, South Australia has been short listed, ACTA facilitiates a one on one site inspection to strengthen Adelaides case to host the conference. Members have the opportunity to host clients & showcase their specific product or service, where appropriate for the client.
UNIVERSITY PROJECT
Throughout each calendar year ACTA conducts a series of educational seminars within the 3 South Australian Universities. The purpose of these workshops is to educate University staff on the role of ACTA and how it can assist in winning or providing information on an existing conference coming to Adelaide. The opportunities for ACTA members derive from participation and product representation when and where appropriate.
MEMBERSHIP PUBLICATIONS
ACTA Online is a monthly publication that updates members on the activities and work carried out on their behalf. New members are recognised in this publication and existing members have the opportunity to promote products and services. The publication is electronically delivered to over 1,000 recipients. ACTA produce an annual Adelaide Appetite - a guide to some of Adelaide's finest restaurants and shopping. Members are given the opportunity to advertise in this guide of which 20,000 copies are distributed to conference & event organisers to be placed in delegate satchels each year.
NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES
On behalf of its members ACTA provides numerous networking and profiling opportunities. Regular functions enable ACTA to keep members up to date on ACTA activities and provide the environment for business relationships to develop.
ACTA members are provided with the opportunity to host one of our high profile functions and showcase their venue to the wider Business Events and Tourism Industry.
MEMBER SITE VISITS
The ACTA Sales team attends members site inspections to keep abreast of local member product and facilities. Upgraded and new products and services should avail themselves to this opportunity.

ACTA's internet site provides on-line information about Adelaide and South Australia as a destination. A series of databases allow for product searches and links to members email and URL addresses.
